My Journey To Today

I AM MOVING TO UGANDA!

This upcoming January 2020 I have the amazing opportunity to go and serve alongside Living Water Ministries in the Kampala community for the next 12 months. I will be launching and overseeing an internship program. This internship program will teach university students valuable leadership skills while also strengthening their relationship with Christ. I am so excited for this experience but getting to this point was a journey. “Journey” has been a word God has put on my heart the past few months. As I have recently graduated from Oakland University I have taken a lot of time to reflect on life and how I got to where I am today. Six years ago I went on my first mission trip and ironically enough the theme of that trip was “The Journey”. I was 17 years old and my relationship with Christ was nowhere near where it is now. On that trip my eyes were opened up, for really the first time ever, to see how awesome of a God we really do have. I left that trip with a fire under my feet ready to serve God in absolutely everything I do. Since then I have been able to go on six additional mission trips that have pushed me to be the person I am. I have a huge passion for mission work and I would not be where I am today without it. God has been so good to me and taught me so much over this past 6 year journey. He is now calling me to a new, yet very exciting journey to serve in Uganda for the next 12 months. Below are some pictures from my first visit to Uganda.

I cannot do this alone, in order to make this possible I need a team of people to walk alongside me throughout this journey to support me both through prayer and financially. I would love you to be apart of my journey. All financial donations will go toward my living expenses while in Uganda; it will cost me about $800.00 per month. As you are deciding whether you can contribute financially I just please ask that you ask God to bless your decision. Would you be willing to make a financial donation and commit to prayer in support of my journey to Kampala? I truly appreciate your support as I embark this very new, yet challenging journey to Kampala. Blessings, Lexi Dingman
