Hi Friends!
We are so thankful you are here walking (which sometimes feels like running) through this journey with us! The Bible says it best, "Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed." Ecclesiastes 4:9 NLT. That couldn't be more true and we have seen the fruits of that scripture time after time with your support.
Im sure some of you who follow along on social media saw the joy-filled celebration of the recent parents graduation. We had so much fun! It is always such a surreal moment to stand in front of the graduates, seeing them all in their gowns. Part of me wishes the time could just freeze there as I look back on how far they have come and all they overcame to be where they are now. But a bigger part of me doesn't want time to freeze but wants to see their future unfold and all they are going to do in this world for the glory of the Lord.

This year we had ten women graduate from discipleship, leadership and parenting class. Heres a few "success" points of your partnership:
10 women are equipped with leadership skills to help provide income for their family to have food to eat everyday.
10 women have committed their lives to Christ! Many of these women had different beliefs prior to joining that were far from Jesus. Some even put their faith in witchcraft prior to this class.
10 women received intense parenting classes. Some of these women have been mothers for years and some became mothers for the first time during class! Not everyone has family to teach them how to raise children but because of you we were able to have guest teachers equip them with biblical parenting principles to help them raise God fearing children of God.
Thank you for living out Ecclesiastes 4:9 with us. We are so thankful, however it doesn't stop here. These women now have a foundation to build off but they need more. Not only these women, but those in the community we have not yet reached, they need the same foundation. Graduation is just a kick off to the beginning of their personal journey toward change. But just like for me and you, change is hard. Sometimes we want to eat healthier or be more diligent with finances but when fast food is easier to buy or you find something that you truly want and your mind convinces you its no longer a WANT, but now a NEED is when we fall away from change and into old habits.
Will you continue on this journey with us to add to the foundation we have worked so hard to build? We know its not easy to make sacrifices for the sake of change but I'll share with you the same thing I share with my classes, strive to be uncomfortable because discomfort brings change and change brings reward.
Thank you for running with us on this journey to reach Gods people by equipping with the skills they need to be the people God intends them to be. Gods not done using us, Im forever thankful for that.
Please pray for these 10 women. Pray for God's protection. Pray for renewed health. Pray for family and friends. Pray for those who don't know Jesus. Pray against addiction. Pray for marriage. Pray for community. Pray for the nation. Pray for leadership. Pray for fellowship. Pray for finances. Pray for provision. Pray for guidance. Pray for Gods calling. Pray for joy. Pray for healing. Pray for your relationship with Jesus. Pray for the church.
With much love and many blessings,
Cosmas and Lexi Ouma
